Cool. You can even see that Lake Ontario is the only Great Lake that's mostly ice free (there's a different story out there warning folks not to hike across Lake Erie, which is frozen solid, because it's much shallower).
NASA’s Terra satellite captured an image of the snow-covered eastern U.S. that looks like the states have been sitting in a freezer.
