How to second guess corporate programmers… (aka how to re-enable the data toggle on a Samsung device…)
For some arcane reason, Samsung wants to keep you constantly using mobile data services, requiring 4 taps to turn it off (settings -> data usage (!) -> mobile data -> Yes, I really want to turn this off). All other (stock) Android devices just have a toggle in the quick settings – tap it, done.
This post details how to at least reduce that from 4 to 2 taps (and turn back on with 1 tap), by re-enabling the “data toggle quick tile” (it’s there, but Samsung hid it! on purpose!)
